The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming 4-match T20I series against South Africa series which will start in Durban, on November 8. Suryakumar Yadav will be leading the team as expected but the Indian board has not included three big names in the team due to injuries. Mayank Yadav, Shivam Dube and Riyan Parag will not be part of the team travelling to the Proteas land.

"Mayank Yadav and Shivam Dube were unavailable for selection owing to injuries. Riyan Parag was unavailable for selection and is currently at The BCCI Centre of Excellence for long-term resolution of his chronic right shoulder injury," said BCCI in their official statement.

Ramandeep Singh, Vijaykumar Vyshyak, and Yash Dayal are the fresh names in the squad and there are chances that they can make their potential debuts for the Men in Blue side. Avesh Khan is another big name who will be making his return to the national side with this series.

BCCI has also announced an 18-member squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. They also notified that Kuldeep Yadav is not part of the squad as he is unavailable for selection and will be in NCA looking after the long-term groin issue. The announcement also gave a clear picture of Mohammed Shami's return. There was a lot of speculation that the pacer will make a comeback with this series but that was not the case.
