During the current ODI series against Ireland, Smriti Mandhana continued to enjoy her astonishing form and give a spectacular performance. The star batter opened the series after smashing 41 in the opening ODI and then hit a brilliant 73 in the second. She took it a step further on Wednesday, though, smashing her 10th ODI century to demonstrate India's supremacy. She became the first Indian player to reach the double digits in ODI hundreds with her tenth century, which also happened to be the fastest century ever achieved by an Indian women player (70 balls).

She overtook English great Nat Sciver Brunt with the century since both players had nine hundred before this match. Additionally, Mandhana is currently getting closer to the women's cricket record for most ODI hundreds. Mandhana needs six more tons to break the record, whereas Meg Lanning already has fifteen tons.

Mandhana came out determined to take on the Irish bowlers on the level field of the Saurashtra Cricket Stadium, displaying her imperial best. The assault began at the first ball, and with her outstanding century, Mandhana destroyed the visitors without turning around. When she hit the 50-run milestone, the opening batswoman stepped on the gas pedal and began hitting sixes, reaching the milestone in a record 70 balls.
