India's pace-bowling spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah, marked his return to top 10 in ICC T20I bowling rankings after an economical three-fer against South Africa in Men's T20 World Cup 2026 encounter. Bumrah jumped seven spots to occupy the eighth place in the rankings.
Bosch, Forde jump high
The top spot is still occupied by India's mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy. He is followed by Rashid Khan. Proteas' pace-bowling all-rounder Corbin Bosch made a huge jump of 21 places to achieve career-best third spot. England's Adil Rashid held on to the fourth spot while Pakistan's Abrar Ahmed slipped two places after getting dropped from the side.
Adam Zampa moved two spots up to sixth. West Indies' Matthew Forde made an even bigger jump than Bosch. He moved up 23 places to take the seventh place, above Bumrah. Out-of-action due to Bangladesh pulling out of T20 World Cup, left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman is still ranked ninth. An injured Wanindu Hasaranga slipped four places to 10th. Zimbabwe's Brad Evans, Pakistan's Mohammad Nawaz and New Zealand's Jacob Duffy slipped out of top 10. Proteas left-arm pacer Marco Jansen climbed up eight places to 19th while India's Arshdeep Singh is just below him with same rating points.
Despite a major slump in form, Abhishek is still on top, maintaining the lead. England opener Phil Salt is stationed at second place whereas an in-form Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan has moved up two places to third, going past Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka. Ishan Kishan has entered top five, owing to his stellar couple of knocks.
Brevis, Dube climb up the ladder
Suryakumar Yadav is holding on to the sixth position with Tilak Varma below him who has slipped three spots. England's Jos Buttler has slipped to ninth. The new entrant in top 10 is Dewald Brevis who played a crucial knock against India in Ahmedabad. It led to New Zealand's Tim Seifert and Australia's Travis Head losing one position each.
West Indies skipper Shai Hope has been rewarded with a four-place jump to 14th. England skipper Harry Brook jumped 10 spots to take 18th place after a match-winning ton against Pakistan. Also, India's Shivam Dube has continued to rise. He went up 13 spots to take the 28th place.
Sikandar on top again
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe skipper Sikandar Raza has reclaimed the no.1 all-rounder spot as Pakistan's Saim Ayub continues to struggle with the bat. Hardik Pandya is placed third. Dube has moved up in all-rounder rankings as well, taking the seventh place. Italy's Benjamin Manenti has climbed from 20th to 14th whereas Axar Patel has slipped to 18th.
