Veteran opener David Warner has joined the ranks of the fastest batters to reach 3,000 runs in T20I cricket. He accomplished this milestone during the third T20I against West Indies in Adelaide on February 13. Warner became the second Australian to achieve this feat after former skipper Aaron Finch.

Virat Kohli
Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli holds the record for being the fastest batter to reach 3000 runs in men's T20I cricket. He achieved this milestone in 81 innings. He began his T20I career in 2010 and reached this landmark during a match against England in Ahmedabad in March 2021. Kohli has amassed a total of 4037 runs in his T20I career.
Babar Azam
Former Pakistan Captain Babar Azam shares the record for being the joint-fastest player to reach 3000 runs in T20Is, achieving this milestone in just 81 innings, a feat he shares with Virat Kohli. Azam accomplished this remarkable achievement in September 2022 during a match against England in Lahore. He began his T20I career in 2016 and has amassed a total of 3698 runs to date.
Aaron Finch
Former Australian captain Aaron Finch became the first Aussie to surpass the 3000-run mark in T20I history, achieving this milestone in just 98 innings. He accomplished this feat during a match against England in Perth in October 2022. Finch commenced his T20I career in 2011 and has accumulated a total of 3120 runs to date.
Martin Guptill
New Zealand’s opening batter Martin Guptill ranks 4th in the list of fastest players to reach 3000 runs in T20 internationals. It took him 101 innings to achieve this milestone in T20I cricket. Guptill reached the 3000-run mark during his 105th T20 international match, playing against Scotland at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in November 2021. He made his T20I debut in 2009.
David Warner
In his final home International match, David Warner reached the milestone of 3000 runs in T20I Cricket and became the 7th player to achieve this feat. He holds the fifth position on the list. He accomplished this during the third T20I match against West Indies in Perth. Warner began his T20I career in 2009 and has since accumulated a total of 3067 runs.
Rohit Sharma
Indian captain Rohit Sharma reached the milestone of 3000 runs in T20I cricket in 108 innings and secured the sixth position on this list. He accomplished this feat during the 2021 T20 World Cup match against Namibia in Dubai. Rohit began his T20I career in 2007 and has accumulated a total of 3974 runs so far.
Paul Stirling
Irish batting all-rounder Paul Stirling took the longest to reach the milestone of 3000 runs in T20Is, making him the seventh player to achieve this feat overall. He accomplished this milestone in August 2022 during a match against Afghanistan. Stirling made his T20I debut in 2009 and has since scored 3438 runs.
