How Many Views WWE Raw Amassed on Netflix on Its Debut Week?

As time has passed by, some numbers emerged which may help analyse whether the show scored at the popularity charts or not. While WWE does not reveal the data related to its viewership, but this time the company has made an exception and revealed the numbers courtesy of courtesy of Wrestlenomics. According to third-party media analytics company VideoAmp, 2.6 million households in the United States watched the Netflix debut of "Raw," marking a 16% increase over the 2024 average.

Along with that, the report included a "Live+1 views" measurement, which is meant to replicate the "average minute audience" used to measure traditional TV audiences. According to that parameter, the episode amassed 4.9 million views worldwide during the live broadcast and the hours that followed.

Unlike traditional TV ratings, which provide a specific viewer count, the measurement system used here relies on household metrics. However, by applying the average viewers-per-household ratio from "Raw's" December 2024 performance, Wrestlenomics estimates that the premiere drew approximately 3.5 million viewers. If accurate, this figure would represent a significant increase over the 2024 average. Notably, Wrestlenomics cross-referenced data from Nielsen and VideoAmp, which provided differing viewership analytics for the Golden Globe Awards. VideoAmp's numbers exceeded Nielsen's by 9%, suggesting discrepancies in data collection methods that may inflate streaming metrics compared to traditional TV ratings.
