The only feat that the "Djoker" was missing was an Olympic gold, and he achieved that too last year at the Paris Olympics and became only the fifth tennis player to complete a Golden Slam. In addition the Serbian legend also the record for most tennis Grand Slams with 24 titles under his belt. 

With all these accomplishments already behind him, the 37-year-old tennis legend is now chasing his 25th Grand Slam title as he competes in the ongoing Australian Open 2025. By his side is none other than his former rival, turned coach, Andy Murray. The two shared countless battles on the court before Murray retired last August after the Paris Olympics. Following his retirement, Murray stepped into a new role as Djokovic’s coach, taking over after the Serb parted ways with Goran Ivanisevic last year. A formidable reunion between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray

Murray recently revealed that after his retirement he received a call from Novak Djokovic last year who offered him to take over as his new coach. Although he was not ready to be a tennis coach yet, the Briton shared that after discussing the offer with his family he decided to give this new challenge a shot. 

"[Novak] asked if I would be interested in helping, which I obviously wasn't expecting. I said to him: 'Look, I need to think about it and talk to my family. So I spoke to them, and after a couple of days, I thought that it was a pretty unique opportunity and experience. I thought it would be a good idea to try it," said Murray.

With all that being said, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray are set to take on the first challenge of the year as Nole is ready to begin his Australian Open 2025 campaign on Sunday, January 12, against Nishesh Basavareddy of the United States.
