With this victory, Alcaraz is now just one match away from achieving a remarkable feat: becoming only the fifth male player in history to win three consecutive Wimbledon championships at the All England Club. The elite group of players who have previously accomplished this includes legends of the sport such as Bjorn Borg, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic.

Alcaraz's sensational win marks his 20th consecutive victory at the SW19 venue and propels him to his sixth Grand Slam final overall. The 21-year-old is currently on an impressive 24-match winning streak, which includes title victories at the Italian Open, the French Open, and the Queen's Club Championships. Notably, Alcaraz boasts a perfect record in major finals, having won all five of his previous appearances.

In the highly anticipated Wimbledon final, Carlos Alcaraz is set to compete against the winner of the other semi-final match. That match will see a compelling contest between the current World No. 1, Jannik Sinner, and the holder of 24 Grand Slam titles, Novak Djokovic.

Alcaraz established an early advantage in the first set, quickly taking a 2-0 lead by securing a break of serve and then comfortably holding his own serve to love. While Taylor Fritz improved his serving as the set progressed, he was unable to find the crucial break needed to get back on level terms. Alcaraz reached set point at 5-3, 40-30, but Fritz managed to save it. However, the Spaniard remained composed and closed out the set in 35 minutes, once again holding his serve to love. In this opening set, Alcaraz showcased exceptional efficiency on his first serve, winning all 13 of his first-serve points, demonstrating a perfect 100 percent success rate.

In the second set, Fritz managed to win a point on Alcaraz’s first serve for the first time in the match, yet Alcaraz still held his serve, leveling the score at 2-2. The Spaniard then regained control, holding Fritz to love in the subsequent game. Fritz finally earned his first break point of the match in the eighth game, but Alcaraz successfully saved it, bringing the score to 4-4. However, in the twelfth game, Alcaraz's serve faltered as he dropped four consecutive points, allowing Fritz to secure his first break of the match, win the set, and level the overall score.

Taylor Fritz carried his momentum into the third set, holding Carlos Alcaraz to love in the opening game. But Alcaraz responded with equal dominance, holding his own serve to love to level the score at 1-1. He then managed to break Fritz's serve, regaining the lead, and subsequently consolidated the break to move ahead 3-1. Leading 5-3 and holding two set points at 40-15, Alcaraz saw Fritz save one with an ace. Nevertheless, Alcaraz maintained his composure and closed out the set, moving one step closer to the final.

In the fourth set, Fritz faced a tense moment in the sixth game, successfully saving a break point to keep himself in contention. The American continued to challenge Alcaraz, ultimately pushing the set into a deciding tie-break. In the tie-breaker, Alcaraz quickly established a 4-1 lead, but Fritz mounted a strong comeback, winning the next five consecutive points to earn two set points at 6-4. However, Alcaraz displayed remarkable resilience, saving both set points and then reeling off the next four points in a row to clinch the match.
