Seth Rollins’ new faction, introduced shortly after WrestleMania 41, is already grabbing plenty of attention on WWE programming—not just for their presence, but their appearance. Rollins continues to flaunt his flamboyant fashion choices, while Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker have sparked conversation with their obviously enhanced spray tans.
The odd visual hasn’t gone unnoticed, especially by Kevin Owens, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to poke fun at the bronzed look of Breakker and Heyman. In classic Owens fashion, he asked Rollins if he planned on joining the tanning trend himself, while also sharing how much he misses his longtime rival and friend.
Kevin Owens Opens Up About Owen Hart’s Influence
Beyond the lighthearted banter, Kevin Owens recently offered a more heartfelt reflection during his appearance on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast. During the interview, Owens detailed how Owen Hart became one of his earliest wrestling inspirations, thanks in large part to how much he related to the sibling dynamics portrayed on-screen.
“I have a brother that’s 10 years older than me, and as brothers do, we’d fight a lot when we were kids,” Owens shared. “Because he was 10 years older than me, was a lot stronger than me. So he always won, let’s put it that way. So when I was younger I couldn’t help but have a bit of a resentment towards him, which is not the case. I love him. But when you’re a kid, you feel differently about things.”
Owens recalled discovering Bret and Owen Hart during his deep dive into older WWE tapes after initially watching WrestleMania 11.
“I remember I watched WrestleMania 11, and I liked Bret Hart enough after that, but then I started going backwards and watching the shows that were before,” he explained. “I rented all the tapes, and I believe it was a Royal Rumble of that same year. Bret’s wrestling Diesel, and in the match he tries to tie Diesel’s legs up with the camera wires—and to me, that’s cheating. This is terrible. Why is he cheating?”
He continued, “Then Owen comes into frame to try to fight Bret. To me I’m like, yeah, that’s the right thing to do, trying to keep him from cheating. He’s the younger brother trying to fight off the older brother. So I was like, Owen Hart’s my guy. That was it. It was like the dynamic between me and my older brother and him and his older brother is what made me like him at first.”
Owens then praised Owen Hart’s in-ring abilities and natural charisma. “He’s an incredible wrestler and very charismatic, very entertaining. So yeah, just became a huge fan of his.”
