Cody Rhodes completed his revenge against John Cena at WWE SummerSlam on Sunday. He has become a two-time WWE Undisputed Champion with his victory against John Cena.
Fans expect Cody Rhodes to be the machine he was during his previous title reign after defeating Roman Reigns. But, the American Nightmare may miss the first premium live event after the SummerSlam.
WWE to push John Cena's blockbuster match
WWE may have already teased the main event for the upcoming Clash in Paris, as Brock Lesner returned and produced a brutal F5 against John Cena. The Cenation leader is advertised for the upcoming episode of SmackDown, where he might challenge Brock Lesnar for a match at Clash in Paris.
Given the star power, Cena and Lesnar's match would likely be the main event of the PLE. Although, putting Cody Rhodes on the same event would like to divide the attention of fans, Which Triple H might like to avoid.
Street Fighter movie
Cody Rhodes is all set to appear in a major Hollywood movie, "The Street Fighter," in which he will portray the role of Guile. As per reports, Rhodes' WWE schedule may not be affected by the film's shooting schedule, which is said to be filmed this month only.
However, Rhodes may miss the Clash in Paris 2025, to complete his part and then return to continue his run at WWE.
No major rivalry for Cody Rhodes at Clash in Paris
Cody Rhodes's rivalry with John Cena has come to an end with the Cenation Leader turning babyface and being set with Brock Lesnar, leaving the newly crowned WWE Champion without any rival.
Clash in Paris 2025 has only two weeks left, and generating the anticipation for the rivalry needs some extra time. However, Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion, has a rivalry on his hands.
