Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow shared a positive update on his elbow injury recovery which he sustained during the 2024 season, due to which he had to miss the entire postseason. His season came to an end in the month of August last year which led to his placement on the injured list.
What update did Tyler Glasnow provide with?
During Saturday's DodgerFest event, reporters asked Tyler Glasnow about how he feels going into the new Major League Baseball (MLB) season.
I've been throwing normal, throwing bullpens, and I feel as good as I've ever felt, Glasnow said.
The pitchers and catchers are set to report on February 11 for the Los Angeles Dodgers as they will start their season in mid-March.
When Glasnow was at his best, he was a force to reckon with on the mound. He went 9-6 with a 3.49 earned run average, but injuries have impacted his career throughout. The Dodgers have a deep and talented rotation, but they would like Glasnow to be their front-line starter.
Tyler Glasnow excited to be part of Dodgers' rotation
Tyler Glasnow himself is new to the ranks of the Dodgers but has seen plenty of roster turnover in the last few months. The Dodgers made moves by signing Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki, which provides them with even more firepower in their rotation.
While speaking on the podcast of Chris Rose, Glasnow was blunt on his take on the Dodgers rotation going into the 2025 season.
It's gonna be insane, Glasnow said.
He then named a set of pitchers that the Dodgers had at their disposal.
That's going to be fun. [Blake] Snell, Shohei [Ohtani], [Yoshinobu] Yama[moto], Bobby [Miller] [and Clayton] Kershaw. So many people. It's going to be a really good rotation, he added.
The Los Angeles Dodgers will be hoping to get good performances out of Tyler Glasnow. The right-hander mentions that he is in great shape and will soon get his chance to further show it on the diamond.
