But concerns resurfaced earlier this week during LA Lakers’ 110–103 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on March 3. During that game, Austin Reaves appeared to hurt his right wrist while attempting to block a shot from Zion Williamson.

Austin Reaves Plays Through Wrist Concern
Despite the apparent wrist issue, Reaves continued to suit up for Lakers’ next contest. During Friday night’s clash with the Pacers, he was seen playing with his right wrist wrapped in white medical tape, which naturally sparked speculation about his condition.
Following the game, reporters asked Lakers guard directly about the taped wrist and whether it was related to the earlier collision.
One reporter asked, “How’s the wrist, I saw it was wrapped up. Is that from the collision the other night?“
Reaves responded with humor, saying: “I just thought it looked cool, so I just rocked with it.”
His lighthearted answer drew laughter during the interview, reflecting the guard’s well-known habit of adding humor to media interactions.
