But, Kevin Durant remains the highest-ranked player for the Phoenix Suns.

Kevin Durant plays for the Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He recently found his NBA 2K25 rating and reacted in frustration after seeing his placement among premier players.

When was the first time Kevin Durant got drafted in the NBA?

Durant was first drafted in 2007 and has spent his career viewed as a top-five player. But, his reputation has taken a hit after the two-time NBA champion's team's recent playoff struggles.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Phoenix Suns for the first time in 20 years after thrashing them 4-0. A few months down the line, NBA 2K dropped Durant's rating from 96 to 94. They even ranked him ninth in the NBA.

What was Kevin Durant's reaction on X?

On 12th September, Thursday, Durant shared a video of himself being in disbelief over his drop in ratings. He said, "I'm a 94? That's crazy. I'm sick of that s**t."

He almost guessed every superstar that was ranked ahead of him and the 35-year-old was literally displeased with his rankings. He further said, "That's crazy, though. I'm a 94, though? Like, for real, though, that's crazy. I'mma have to get on somebody's a** about that."

Durant needs to do something to get his rating back to 96 plus. Despite his team, the Phoenix Suns underperforming, he is coming off his 14th All-Star selection and 11th NBA nod, finishing in the top five in terms of scoring.

Having played around 75 games last season, Durant averages 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.2 blocks and 2.2 3-pointers per game. His shooting goes up to 52.3% and 41.3% from deep.

Kevin Durant is Suns highest-rated NBA 2K25 player

As the forward is displeased with his NBA 2K25 rating, he remains the highest-rated player for the Phoenix Suns. He left his teammate behind Devin Booker. In the latest edition of NBA 2K25, Durant has a rating of 94 whereas Booker's rating is 93 as he is paced 12th in the league.
