The Warriors star expresses gratitude to fans following the milestone moment.

Another season, another milestone for Steph Curry, who continues to redefine longevity and excellence in the NBA. In mid-January, the Golden State guard was officially named a starter for the upcoming NBA All-Star Game, marking the 12th All-Star selection of his decorated career and his 11th time in the starting lineup. The achievement further cements his status as the most frequent All-Star in Golden State Warriors history.

The league’s showcase event will be held Sunday at Intuit Dome, and while Curry won’t take the floor due to a knee injury, his presence was still felt well before tip-off.

Steph Curry’s message to the fans

Soon after his All-Star nod was confirmed, Curry took to social media to acknowledge those who made it possible. In a brief but heartfelt post, the two-time MVP credited the fanbase for his continued success.

“12th year as an All-Star! Blessed and grateful. I wouldn’t be here without you, the fans 💛💙,” Curry wrote.

The message resonated with Warriors supporters, reflecting the bond between the franchise icon and a fanbase that has backed him through championships, injuries, and constant evolution.

Injury sidelines Curry from All-Star action

Despite being voted in as a starter, Steph Curry will miss the revamped All-Star Game format while recovering from a knee issue.

His spot on the roster was filled by Brandon Ingram of the Toronto Raptors, ensuring representation remains strong despite Curry’s absence.

Elite production in year 17

Even with missed time, Curry’s on-court production remains among the league’s best. Through 39 games in his 17th NBA season, he is averaging 27.2 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds while shooting efficiently from all areas of the floor. He currently ranks ninth in the NBA in scoring, a testament to his consistency despite physical setbacks.

Warriors pushing toward postseason

Golden State enters the All-Star break with a 29–26 record, sitting eighth in the Western Conference. Injuries have tested the roster, but the team remains firmly in the playoff hunt.

Draymond Green continues to anchor the offense as the primary facilitator, while the loss of Jimmy Butler III for the season has shifted more responsibility onto the remaining core.

The Warriors return to action Thursday night at home against the Boston Celtics, with Steph Curry focused on leading another late-season push—milestone or not, exactly where he’s always been.
