EuroBasket 2025 is going through a great time, and Turkey has kicked off its campaign with a perfect record. Houston Rockets standout Alperen Sengun has been pivotal in this strong start, giving another impressive performance against Estonia, which featured a crafty between-the-legs pass.

Sengun has been Turkey's key performer during the Group A games in Riga. Helping the side defeat hosts Latvia 93-73 in the first match, the centre then guided his team to a win against Czech Republic, before displaying another sensational performance against Estonia.

The key moment of the match was his slick between-the-legs pass that left Estonian centre Mathhias Tass completely stranded. To add to the embarrassment, the move was a no-look dish that perfectly connected with former Cleveland Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman. Although Osman was unable to convert the shot, he did get fouled during the attempt, earning a trip to the free-throw line.

The Rockets' big man is leading the side in points, rebounds, assists and blocks. Currently, he is averaging 19.7, 9.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per match.

The strong performance has sealed Turkey a spot in the Round of 16 after three matches, as they top Group A on point differential with Serbia and Nikola Jokic holding the same record. With the two sides set to clash next, the matchup will decide the group winner.

Although they don't have four NBA players on their roster like Serbia, Turkey will be confident in their given chances. With NBA talents Adem Bona and Alperen Sengun, along with former Cavalier Cedi Osman and Heat center Omer Yurtseven, the Turks have the firepower to pull off an asset.
