Another bad news comes from the arena of the NBA, as Utah Jazz's star forward Vince Williams Jr. has sustained a torn left ACL injury on Monday night in the game against the Houston Rockets.

How Vince Williams Jr. suffered injury?

Just before the end of the second quarter, Utah's Williams and Rockets' Tari Eason got engaged in a collision. The collision was the actual moment, where Williams suffered the injury.

Following the collision involving both the players, Williams was seen grabbing his left knee in serious pain and exited the court. As a result, he was unable to make a return in the game. However in his brief time on the court, He managed to score one point, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.

After the loss, Utah Jazz' coach Will Hardy dropped a disappointing update on Williams' injury, saying that the injury is looking quite bad.

“It doesn’t look great," said Hardy.

 

 

However, he added that the franchise will wait till the MRI is done and slammed the foul play by Tari Eason.

“We’ll get an MRI when we get back [to Utah on Tuesday]. That’s not basketball.”

 

 

What is next for Vince Williams Jr.?

After the MRI scans took place on Tuesday morning, it appears that Williams will have to spend the major chunk of the off season in the rehabilitation process.

After the loss against the Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz have a record of 18-40 in the ongoing campaign and currently ranks 13th in the Western Conference standings.
