Atletico’s Simeone dodges questions on Griezmann’s future amid transfer rumors
During his recent media appearance, Simeone was asked about the transfer rumors involving Griezmann, and the La Liga club manager said:
“I will not keep commenting on that. Focus on tomorrow’s game”.
Ahead of the clash against Oviedo, the manager had admitted that he "doesn't know” if the French player is going to stay at the club and finish the season. Meanwhile, according to a report in ESPN, the sources have told the outlet that the former FC Barcelona player will depart from the club.
It is also reported by the same source that Griezmann might be playing his last game with Atletico on March 7 when the La Liga side plays against Sociedad. Meanwhile, Simeone’s men are drawn against Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League last 16.
