Bronny James is the son of LeBron James

LeBron James and his son Bronny James created history by becoming the first father-son duo to step onto the court simultaneously and play together for a franchise. However, the excitement of witnessing arguably the greatest-ever player and his son balling together hasn't aged well as junior James is getting minimal play time. In his rookie season, Bronny has so far only featured in 13 games this season and is yet to make it to the starting lineup.

Bronny James So Far Not Even a Shadow of LeBron James

While on one hand, LeBron James is not dropping a beat even at the age of 40, still averaging 23.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 9 assists, Bronny on the other hand is struggling to find his footing at the top level. From the limited time he has earned this season, Bronny has averaged a pitiful 0.3 points, 0.4 rebounds, 0.3 assists, and 6.3% shooting from the field this season. According to Statsmuse, Bronny James has the worst field goal-shooting percentage this season among those who have had 10 or more opportunities. A 55th pick not starting is an expected outcome but a James not performing in the limited time he has been given does not go down well among the fans and experts.

Lakers Coach JJ Reddick On Bronny James

The LA Lakers suffered a disappointing 118-104 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. The match witnessed Anthony Davis sustaining an abdominal injury in the first quarter, which cut down the points of the Lakers. However, JJ Reddick took the chance on Bronny, who had yet another flop show. Reflecting on Bronny's performance Reddick expressed that he has been impressive in the stay-ready games and just wants to reciprocate his confidence with a high-level performance.

"He didn’t play well. But he’s been playing great in the stay-ready games and he’s been playing great in the G. I have confidence, but obviously didn’t provide that at a high level."
