Donovan Mitchell led the side with 27 points while Sam Merrill added 22 for another win after they had beaten the Charlotte Hornets at Rocket Arena. Against the struggling Pelicans, nine players out of 11 scored in double figures.

For the Pelicans, Zion Williamson recorded 26 points off the bench, which were not enough to beat the opponents and snap their five-game winning streak. Meanwhile, as the Cavs face the Knicks next, they will need a fit squad to improve their record.
