Cooper Flagg's four year contract with Dallas Mavericks

Copper Flagg will become a free agent in 2029 if Dallas Mavericks doesn't give him an extension or sign him to a new deal. If he lives up to the hype, the team that will draft him will be in a harry to extend or give him a new contract.

In terms of salary, Cooper Flagg will be the sixth highest paid on the Dallas Mavericks roster. Anthony Davis leads the pack with $54 million, while superstar Kyrie Irving comes second with $36.7 million. Flagg sees his name after PJ Washington's $14.1 million deal.

Among the top five rookies in this year's draft, only two have signed a contract featuring Cooper Flagg and VJ Edgecombe. On Tuesday, VJ Edgecombe signed a four year deal worth $50,438,207. Dylan Harper, Kon Knueppel and Ace Bailey are yet to sign contracts with San Antonio Spurs, Charlotte Hornets and Utah Jazz.

According to Sportrac, Cooper Flagg could be pushing for $1,000,000,000 when he's 31

Copper Flagg's rookie contract will be nothing to his future deals if he lives up to the hype that surrounds him. Many expect him to become the next face of the sport. According to Sportrac, they have computed how his contract could look like by the time he turns 31.

Rookie Contract

2025-2028: $62.7M

30% Supermax Extension

2029-2033: $359M

35% Supermax Extension

2034-2038: $509M
