The Toronto Raptors will be taking on Detroit Pistons when they host them on Friday, April 4 at the Scotiabank Arena. The Detroit Pistons had an impressive six-game stretch which featured five wins but they will be eyeing to bounce back after losing consecutive games on the trot on Sunday and Wednesday. All eyes would be on star player Cade Cunningham, whether he starts against Toronto Raptors.

Will Cade Cunningham play against Toronto Raptors?

The Pistons will be eyeing to clean sweep the Raptors in the season series as they are 3-0 from the three games they have played this season. The most recent game between both the clubs were played on January 11 as the Pistons walked away with a 123-114 victory. In that game, Cunningham registered 22 points, 17 assist double-double performance.

If the Piston win tonight, then they will secure a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2018-19 campaign but they will be without their star guard. Cade Cunningham has missed the last five games that the franchise played. During his absence, the Pistons had a 3-2 record. Cunningham has been suffering from a calf issue but he could return to the court against the Raptors.

Cade Cunningham has been listed as questionable on the team's injury report and his availability will depend on how he feels before the tip-off. The 23-year-old point guard is joined by three other players on the injury report including Isaiah Stewart, Tobias Harris and Jaden Ivey.

Stewart has been listed on the injury report due to a suspension as the result of an on-court brawl between Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. Friday will be the second and last game of his suspension. Tobias Harris has been ruled out after their clash against OKC Thunder on Thursday. In that match, he scored 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting.

Harris had missed the previous two games as well due to an Achilles issue. Jaden Ivey, one of the best players for the Pistons, is recovering from a broken fibula  which he suffered back in January. The star guard will be back in time for the playoffs.

The Toronto Raptors are currently eleventh in the Eastern Conference with a record of 28-49 and are on a two game losing streak. The Detroit Pistons are placed sixth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 42-34 and are on a two game losing streak.
