Story Highlights:

Unrivaled will feature six dynamic teams, each with a starstudded roster.

Though the WNBA Rookie of the Year, Caitlin Clark, is a highly anticipated player, she will not be participating in the Unrivaled league for the 2025 season.

In the world of women's professional basketball, the offseason is usually a time when players head overseas to stay sharp and supplement their incomes. However, WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart are working to change this dynamic with the launch of the Unrivaled 3on3 Women's Basketball League. This groundbreaking league will tip off in Miami on January 17, 2025, bringing an exciting new option for women’s basketball players to compete domestically during the winter months.

 What is Unrivaled?

Unrivaled is a 3on3 professional women's basketball league created by Collier and Stewart. The league will feature toptier WNBA talent, including Angel Reese, Sabrina Ionescu, and Brittney Griner, as well as several rising stars. Unrivaled aims to give players a highlevel, domestic alternative to playing overseas during the offseason, with Miami as the exclusive venue for all games in the league's inaugural season.

The league will consist of six teams, each made up of six players. Over the course of an eightweek season, teams will play 14 regularseason games, with the playoffs taking place from March 1618, 2025. The league's opening game will feature Mist BC vs. Lunar Owls BC on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET.
