Story Highlights:

Viral tweet claiming Giannis-to-Warriors trade exposed as fake, originating from parody accounts.

Salary cap issues and one-sided trade structure make the proposed Bucks-Warriors-Nets deal impossible.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the biggest name on the trade market ahead of the trade deadline. One of the teams interested in the Milwaukee Bucks star is the Golden State Warriors. A viral tweet claimed that the Warriors are close to signing Antetokounmpo in a three-team trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

Giannis Antetokounmpo trade to Golden state Warriors happening?

As per Gregory Hendricks, the Bucks are sending Antetokounmpo and Kyle Kuzuma to the Warriors. Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podeziemski are four first-round picks on their way to Milwaukee, while the Nets are getting Draymond Green, Moses Moody and two second-rounders.

Gregory Hendricks is not a reporter from Forbes. He is a parody account that usually posts fake trades and scenarios that garner reactions and likes on social media.

Hendricks used the account @ChrisBHayne as source for the trade information. It is the parody account for NBA on NBC analyst Chris Haynes, who is on the top of the best sources of Insider information in the league, alongside Shams Charania of ESPN.

If that is not enough to convince some people, the Nets are not sending any players to either the Warriors or Bucks. The Warriors are getting $12.8 million of extra money because of the trade, which won't be allowed by the NBA's salary cap rules.

The same applies for the Nets since they are going over by a massive $37.2 million. It is just a dream trade that was made for comments, which were primarily about almost believing the report.

Dillon Brooks on Giannis Antetotokounmpo trade situation

Multiple reports are claiming that the Golden State Warriors are quite interested in Giannis Antetokounmpo. Phoenix Suns forward even told N30n in an appearance on his stream on Saturday that he heard that the Warriors could be getting  "The Greek Freak."

"I heard the Warriors, bro," Brooks said, according to Sai Mohan of Heavy Sports. "That would be so crazy to get a screen-and-roll with them. You're running off to Steph to try to get a three, then there's Giannis for a dunk. Like, just imagine having Giannis there instead of Draymond, working that two-man game. It would be crazy."

Nick Friedell of The Athletic claimed that the Warriors want to keep Jimmy Butler, who will be out for the rest of the year because of a torn ACL. That means Draymond Green might be on his way out if the Bucks decided to make the trade.
