Story Highlights:

Butler ignores Heat players for the second straight visit after forcing his way out.

Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro say they’re unfazed, even amused, by Butler’s cold treatment.

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler has no love lost for the Miami Heat and his former teammates. When Butler made a comeback fto South Beach in March after forcing his way out of South Beach a month before, he gave his former teammates the cold shoulder. On Wednesday, Butler left the floor without having an interaction with the Heat players after the home team won 110-96.

Butler's cold attitude with Miami Heat players

The Heat paid a tribute to Butler when he returned to Miami on March 25. He raised his hands to acknowledge the fans before struggling for 11 points on 5-for-12 shooting. Butler did not care to exchange high fives or dap with former teammates after wrapping up the game.

Jimmy Butler did not play on Wednesday because of a back sprain. He was on the bench as the Warriors' second stringers tried to pull off an upset. Like in his first return, he went for the exit as soon as the final buzzer sounded.

Heat star Bam Adebayo, Butler's former teammate, did not want to focus on the subheadings of another Butler appearance. Adebayo said on Tuesday he was "blocking" out the noise and declined to "chase a headline."

After Miami's 112-86 beatdown of the Warriors in March, Adebayo told the Miami Heat Herald's Anthony Chiang that he was not surprised by Jimmy Butler's snub. He said that he did not want to take the frosty treatment personally.

Still, Adebayo and Tyler Herro could not resist taking a shot at Butler in the postgame interview. Both Heat stars said that they found their happiness following whipping the Warriors.

Butler said on various occasions, leading to the trade, that he had lost his "joy" in Miami. He told reporters in late April, following a few months with the Warriors, that he found his happiness again.
