Story Highlights:

Towns has been under the weather but could still suit up, as he rarely misses games.

The Knicks big man has recently found his rhythm, posting strong scoring and rebounding numbers over his last three outings.

The New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns is questionable to play against his former side Minnesota Timberwolves, on Wednesday. As per the team's injury report, Town's status was changed under illness.

Latest update on Karl-Anthony Towns

As per the RotoWire staff, the Knicks' player had been under the Weather since waking up.

"Towns was added to the injury report overnight, presumably after waking up under the weather. There's a good chance he warms up before a decision is made on his status, as it will take a lot to keep Towns out of the lineup."

Karl-Anthony Towns kicked off his second season with the Knicks on a slow note. However, he picked up his rhythm in the last few games. In the last three games, Towns had stacked at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in games.

The Knicks star's number on offense through seven games have been below his career stats. He is averaging the lowest points (20.4) since his rookie season, and a career-low 40.8% in field goals.

Karl-Anthony Towns' stats against Minnesota Timberwolves

Since the time he was traded to the Knicks from Minnesota last season, Karl-Anthony Towns has managed to play just one game against his former side, and his numbers across the board are perhaps a tale of revenge.

The only time he played against the Timberwolves was in December last season. He registered 32 points, 20 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in 38 minutes.
