Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry and veteran forward from Phoenix Suns Kevin Durant reunited on Sunday. The former Warriors teammates found themselves on the same end during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. The Curry-Durant partnership reinvigorated the NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal's All-Star team, Shaq's OGs, as part of the new format.

Stephen Curry Wins All-Star MVP Following Brilliant Performance
In their first game of the night, Curry orchestrated the OG's win over Candace Parker's Rising Stars 42-35. Following the win, Shaq's OGs advanced to the All-Star championship game, where they square off against Denver Nuggets' star center Nikola Jokic and Charles Barkley's team, Chuck's Global Stars. Curry once again proved to be the hero, as he guided the team to a 41-25 win.
Curry was rewarded for his exceptional performance, as he was named the 2025 All-Star Game Kobe Bryant Most Valuable Player. The moment became memorable for Steph as he got the acknowledgement in front of his home crowd at the Chae Center in San Francisco, California. Curry receiving the award from NBA Commissioner Adam Silver brought out a reaction from Kevin Durant. And as a part of it, some awkward fist pumps emanated between the two.

Curry finished the night with 23 points on 7-of-17 shooting and 6-of-16 from 3-point range, 10 rebounds and two assists. The 36-year-old became the oldest guard in NBA history to win the All-Star game MVP.
In his 15th appearance, Durant compounded four points on 2-of-9 shooting, five rebounds and three assists. Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden collected the most points for Shaq's OGs. He scored 18 points on the day.

Durant and Curry Rewind Glory Days
Durrant and Curry featured together for the Warriors from 2016 to 2019. During the three seasons in the period, the duo helped the Warriors win two titles in the process, with Durant winning both NBA Finals MVPs. In his final season with the Warriors, both Durant and Klay Thomson endured a season-ending injury, thereby, Durant's glorious stint with the Golden State ended on sour note.
