Lakers release injury report for match against Pistons

According to the Lakers’ status report, Rui Hachimura, Austin Reaves, and Gabe Vincent won't be playing against the Pistons on December 30. Hachimura is dealing with right calf soreness, Reaves has been sidelined due to a left calf strain, and Vincent is ruled out because of a lumbar back strain.

Hence, it can be predicted that Nick Smith Jr might get some more meaningful minutes. The 21-year-old guard played 24 minutes on Sunday and recorded 21 points on 8-of-14 overall shooting and 5-of-10 from downtown. The two-way player earned it Sunday with a starring performance off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are coming off a 125-101 win against the Sacramento Kings, and LeBron James finished with 24 points. Luka Doncic led the side with 34 points, and 24 of those came in the first half. Redick’s side responded to three blowout losses and a spirited team meeting, which turned out to be one of their most complete games of the season.
