LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers' superstar, was noticeably absent from the NBA All-Star Game 2025’s Saturday night festivities, sparking concern and speculation about his availability for the main event on Sunday. The 21-time All-Star skipped both the shootaround and players' press conference, leaving fans wondering if his participation in Sunday’s game was in jeopardy. However, ESPN's Dave McMenamin later confirmed that James would, in fact, join the festivities on Sunday, following his usual pattern from the previous two All-Star weekends.

His career-high of 36 points came during the 2012 All-Star Game when he played for the Miami Heat.
