Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic played like brothers in the 2026 NBA All-Star weekend. They got engaged in so many interactions that show how close they are. Jokic jokingly claimed that Doncic loves to gamble on everything.
Luka Doncic loves gambling?
In a video clip from inside Team World's locker room at the All-Star Game, Jokic can be seen greeting Pascal Siakam of the Indiana Pacers. He questioned if he knew Samuel Eto'o, a Cameroonian football icon.
Siakam knows Samuel Eto'o personally, though he is not a big fan of Eto'o being a big player at Barcelona because he supports Real Madrid. Luka Doncic, who represented Real Madrid's basketball team, approved of Siakam's sentiments about the Blaugrana.
That's when "The Joker" dropped a funny line that left Doncic baffled:
"You know why Luka follow everything? Because he bets on everything. Gamble, gamble."
It's certain to say that Nikola Jokic is living up to his moniker as "The Joker." While some people might take him seriously and believe that Luka Doncic has a liking towards gambling, the Denver Nuggets star's statement was apparently a joke.
Although, it is tough to fault some people, especially with the NBA under criticism because of a recent betting incident involving players like Jontay Porter, Malik Beasley and terry Rozier, as well as Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups.
