Luka Doncic has so far played 18 games for the Lakers and has averaged 27.2 points per game to go along with 8.6 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.8 steals. He has shot 41.2% from the floor overall and has knocked down 36.5% of his 3-point attempts.

A player of Luka Doncic's caliber, who is hailed as a generational talent may prove to be successful wherever he goes let alone the LA Lakers. But as per Luka Doncic's father, Sasa Doncic, his son was destined to play and succeed for the Lakers.

"I believe that he was born for Los Angeles," he said.

Luka Doncic On Moving to LA From Dallas

Recently, Doncic opened up about how he is adapting to his new city. He seems to be getting more comfortable in his situation with the Lakers.

"Feels like getting to a new home," Doncic said. "Dallas was my home for seven years, almost seven years. It really felt like home. Coming here, just trying to build a new home and getting more and more comfortable."

The LA Lakers have suffered a plummet in the last week or two. The team suffered its third consecutive loss on Monday, this time against the Orlando Magic. Despite the losses, the Lakers are still placed high on the Western table. They are currently sitting at the 4th position with still 11 games left on their regular season schedule.
