Milwaukee, Golden State and Phoenix are monitoring Miles Bridges, with the Hornets seeking at least a first-round pick.

Arizona radio host John Gambadoro says the Suns remain long-time admirers, giving them a potential edge in trade talks.

The February 5 trade deadline is fast approaching and teams have started to take steps. While some big players are set to move during this cycle, LaMelo Ball's teammate, Miles Bridges has emerged as a likely trade candidate with three teams interested.

Miles Bidges's emergence as likely trade candidate

Underdog NBA tweeted on Friday about possible trade mentioned by NBA insider Sam Atwick, which included a possible trade for Ball's $75-million  teammate.

As per the report, Bridges has generated interest from Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, and Phoenix Suns. However, Charlotte Hornets is maintaining their stance on the asking price, seeking at least a first-round pick in any deal, as the franchise continues its  transition with the forward being a key figure.

Bridges is in the second year of his four-year, $75 million deal and continues to be a crucial player for the franchise. He is averaging 18.7 points per game this season while shooting an efficient 47.2% from the field, production that has only elevated his value around the league
and made him one of the most sought-after names.

Why do the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors need Bridges?

Given his offensive record, franchises like Warriors and Bucks view Bridges as a perfect complement to their stars. Both Franchises have depended heavily on Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo, respectively , and including an attacker like Bridges' potential would ease that burden by providing a dependable backup.

Why do Phoenix Suns require Bridges?

In Phoenix, the requirement is more direct. After losing Kevin Durant, the Suns are missing firepower, and Bridges has that kind of potential who could immediately help fill that gap.

Miles Bridges has turned out to be a potential trade candidate for teams looking to boost their roster before the deadline. While three team have been named, the Phoenix Suns seem to be the favorite contender for a trade.

As per Arizona-based radio host John Gambadoro, the Suns are a huge favorite for their long-time admiration of the player.

"A few things here. The Suns have always liked Miles Bridges," Gambadoro wrote via X (formerly Twitter). "They also do not currently have a first-round pick they can trade. And they are not looking to do anything crazy right now."

While this does not guarantee them as hot favorites, the Suns appear to have the upper hand.
