The Emirates NBA Cup in-season basketball tournament has reached its final stage for the year. The San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks will be locking horns in the battle for the NBA Cup title after the 30 teams tried to chase the glory. The final is scheduled to be held on December 16, 2025, in Las Vegas.
The Spurs are coming off a 111-109 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The franchise is 18-7 this season as they stand 4th in the Western Conference. Following their latest win against the Thunder, the Spurs gave the defending champions their second loss of the season. Victor Wembanyama scored 22 points in 21 minutes of action, and 17 of his 22 points came in the second half, including a free throw with 6.1 seconds left.
On the other hand, the Knicks stand 2nd in the Eastern Conference with an 18-7 record. In their most recent fixture, they defeated the Orlando Magic which a score of 132-120.
