NBA insider reveals Lakers’ Luka Doncic’s concerning update ahead of crucial clash vs Warriors
Dave McMenamin updated on Luka Doncic's left hamstring strain from Thursday's win over the Philadelphia 76ers. The NBA insider noted that initial MRI optimism for a minor issue, but confirmed the Slovenian’s doubtful status for Saturday's matchup against the Golden State Warriors. He wrote:
“There is some initial optimism that Luka Doncic is not dealing with a major issue with his left hamstring, however the Lakers star is doubtful to play Saturday against the Golden State Warriors, sources told ESPN.”
Doncic was ruled out of the team's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. The former Dallas Mavericks player sat out due to left leg soreness. Although he might miss a few upcoming games, the report states that he won't be sidelined for long.
