The Dallas Mavericks' trade of Luka Doncic was possibly the worst mistake they could have made, and it appears that it is coming back to bite them again. According to ESPN's NBA insider Shams Charania, Doncic had no plans to leave the Mavericks, a principle that he will now follow with the Los Angeles Lakers.
"[Luka Doncic] had no intention of ever leaving Dallas and he never wanted to go anywhere,” Charania stated. “That's how he viewed himself with the Mavericks. One team, one city, forever. I think that's going to carry over to the Lakers."

Dallas Mavericks Struck by Ill Fate Following Luka Doncic's Departure
