Kevin Durant was caught smiling when a young girl was shown on the cameras, calling him the GOAT during a Brooklyn Nets match. The Houston Rockets, who are 3rd in the Western Conference with a 9-3 record, beat the Orlando Magic with a score of 117-113. What has everyone’s attention is a young 12-year-old girl who has chosen her idol in Durant.

The girl was seen holding a board which read:
“KD is my GOAT pick, sorry MJ, I am only 12.”
The 37-year-old was seen nodding his head and smiling as he sipped from the water bottle.
Durant made 35 points as the Rockets beat the Magic on Sunday night. Alongside Durant, Alperen Sengun had 30 points and 12 rebounds to help the Rockets rally for the overtime victory.

The opponents were led at a point when Amen Thompson put the Rockets on top on a dunk with an assist from Durant with less than a minute left in overtime. Jabari Smith Jr. then blocked a layup by Franz Wagner before Durant made a step-back jumper with 9.2 seconds left.
The team was trailing by as many as 11 in the fourth quarter before they made a comeback. Durant made a 3-pointer with 21.4 seconds in regulation to tie it at 100. The Rockets are set to face the Cleveland Cavaliers next.
