Stephen Curry will make his return to the three-point contest in the 2027 All-Star Weekend. The 37-year-old was out this year following a knee injury, specifically right patellofemoral pain syndrome.
The Golden State Warriors’ superstar has missed his side’s last five games due to the injury. The NBA legend was replaced by Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram in the All-Star roster. Meanwhile, he has confirmed his return for next year’s three-pointer contents and wants a special player to join him.

Curry confirmed his 2027 All-Star three-pointer contest on NBC on Sunday during this year’s All-Star Game. He also added that he will try to persuade former teammate Klay Thompson to join him in the contest.
Curry’s most recent victory in the contest came in 2021 in Atlanta, which was the last time he took part in the event. He also won in 2015. On the other hand, Thompson grabbed the win in Toronto in 2016.
Meanwhile, Damian Lillard, a man who has not stepped on an NBA court all season, won the 3-Point Contest this year. It came after Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns missed his final three shots. Lillard became the third player to win three 3-point contests Saturday.
