The MRI examination conducted on Tuesday following the game 1 of the series identified a mild strain in Steph's left hamstring, casting doubts on his participation for at least a week.

Stephen Curry To Miss Out Next Three Games of Playoff Series Against Timberwolves
Stephen Curry sustained the injury on Tuesday night against the Timberwolves in game 1 of the round 2 playoff series. The injury forced Curry to step off the court in the second quarter of the game. Despite losing their talisman, the Warriors held their nerves to secure a comfortable win with a scoreline of 99-88. Curry was looking good on his feet before the injury. He contributed 13 points in 13 minutes and gave his side an early advantage.
“Every year the playoffs are about adapting, whether it’s a game plan or an injury or a lineup, so we just have to adapt,” coach Steve Kerr said. “We’ve done this before, and we’re confident we can do this again.”
The series schedule has Game 2 in Minneapolis on Thursday, followed by Games 3 and 4 in San Francisco on Saturday and Monday. Stephen Curry is expected to potentially return for Game 5 on May 14, with three days off before Game 6 on May 18.

Can the Warriors Hold Up Without Curry?
Steph Curry has never suffered a significant hamstring injury in his career, leaving fans guessing about the length of the absence and whether the Warriors could keep up without the presence of the all-time leading 3-point shooter in NBA history.
“We think we have the best defense in the league, and that’s been proven over the last couple of months,” Kerr said.
The Warriors previously navigated Curry's playoff injuries in 2016 and 2018, going 9-3 without him and still reaching the NBA Finals both times, ultimately winning the title in 2018.
