Story Highlights:

Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard and James Harden for the season finale

Steve Kerr’s side might be without new addition Jimmy Butler as the head coach stated that the former Miami Heat player will be “doubtful

The Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers are set to meet each other at the last game of the ongoing pre-season before they enter the NBA regular season. Steve Kerr’s side might be without new addition Jimmy Butler as the head coach stated that the former Miami Heat player will be “doubtful” for the season finale. The player who is recovering from an ankle injury, however, will most likely be available for the regular season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers. This will mark the first full season for the player with the Warriors.

For the Clippers, the franchise will be without Kawhi Leonard and James Harden for the season finale. Although the two are not injured, they will be given rest as the regular season remains the priority. They will be expected to return for the season opener against the Utah Jazz. Coach Tyronn Lue is prioritizing player health and rotation balance as the regular season approaches.

The franchise followed last year’s unfortunate first-round exit and added players like Brook Lopez, John Collins, Bradley Beal, and Chris Paul to a core led by Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Ivica Zubac. The team is focusing on powering their depth and solving the long-standing squad deficiencies.
