Kevin Durant has given Bayless an apt reply.

After labelling Kevin Durant as "semi-retired", famed NBA analyst Skip Bayless has received a retort from the Phoenix Suns' forward. Durant, who has been enduring a tough spell with the Suns and has been receptive of severe criticism lately did not take the opinion of Bayless kindly. Noting what Bayless said about him, KD clapped back by making Bayless accompany him in the "washed up" category.

What Did Skip Bayless Say About Kevin Durant?

According to Bayless, the 36-year-old Kevin Durant is out of steam and went on to say that the NBA legend is semi-retired.

The more I watch [Durant] at age 36, the more he looked mentally semi-retired to me,” the longtime sports analyst said candidly.

Paying heed to Durant's off-court endeavors, Bayless predicts the future Hall of Famer could be planning to hang up his boots soon.

“He’s participating in a documentary made about his life and times. And it just feels to me like he is winding down his basketball,” Skip continued.

The 73-year-old believes Durant has lost the hunger after playing for 17 years in the NBA, and the dearth of passion has affected the Suns throughout the season. At 20-31, Phoenix completely blew the start they got in the season, picking eight wins out of the first nine games, and courtesy of the current picture they are completely out of the playoff scene.
