Story Highlights:

Brooks’ late Achilles issue raises concerns as Phoenix already miss Devin Booker, Jalen Green and Isiah Livers.

If Brooks sits out, the Suns risk losing their top two scorers ahead of a tough matchup in Minnesota.

The Phoenix Suns have faced a massive flow ahead of their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, with doubts regarding Dillon Brooks' availability for Monday's game.

Latest update on Dillon Brooks

Brooks has been listed in the team's injury report, placed as questionable because of left Achilles soreness.

The update gave a shock to many because Brooks has not faced any foot issues earlier this season. In fact, he seemed perfectly fine in the last game against the Houston Rockets, where he produced 23 points in 31 minutes and played the entire game without any injury concern.

Earlier in the season, Brooks did miss some time, although for a different issue. He was getting fit from a core muscle strain that made him stay on the sidelines for six straight games from October 27 to November 8. During that time, the Suns picked two defeats but managed to stay alive and finished with a 3-3 record before Brooks came back.

Since making the comeback, he has been playing regularly and has appeared in every game. His impact has been very visible throughout the season. He is averaging 22.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists, and led the Suns to 10 wins of the 17 games he has participated in.

Other ruled out players

Brooks' status remains uncertain. Although the Suns  already have several key players ruled out. Devin Booker is facing a right groin strain, Jalen Green is out with a right hamstring strain, and Isiah Livers will miss the clash due to a right hip strain.

If Dillon Brooks is unable to play, the Suns will be missing their two best offensive players this season. Losing both Brooks and Booker would make it difficult for the side to produce points.

Dillon Brooks stats against Minnesota Timberwolves

In his career so far, Dillon Brooks has crossed paths with the Minnesota Timberwolves 19 times, averaging 14.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. In his most recent clash with the Wolves on November 22, he amassed 22 points in a 114-113 win for the Suns.
