Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the fastest team fifty in Test cricket.

Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal created the record in the ongoing second Test match by scoring the fastest team fifty in Test cricket history. India have reached the milestone in just three overs on day four of the second Test at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.

Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone with an electrifying start, with Rohit smashing 19 runs off just six balls. Jaiswal wasn't far behind, racing to 30 from only 13 deliveries. However, Rohit's explosive innings came to an abrupt end when he was clean-bowled by Mehidy Hasan Miraz for 23 off 11 balls, leaving the crowd buzzing and eager for more action.

This achievement surpasses England’s record from July when it reached 50 runs in 4.2 overs during a Test match against the West Indies at Trent Bridge, breaking its own 30-year record for the fastest team fifty in men’s Test cricket.
