Hardik Pandya's Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first against Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals in match 43 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, on April 27 (Saturday). DC will get to the number 5 spot if they manage to win this match and as for MI, winning this match can revive the campaign in the season.
MI have dropped one of their leading wicket-taker Gerald Coetzee and brought in Luke Wood. On, the other hand, Delhi has given Kumar Kushagra a spot in the eleven in place of Prithvi Shaw.

“We were looking to bat first. I think it will get slower in the second innings. It has been amazing, we're getting the kind of wickets we want. As a team we have to play well and we have been. This is something we talked about - how to control the innings. Bowling with the new ball and bowling at the death is difficult, one over here or there is making all the difference.
