Highlights:

Shubman Gill was absolutely livid after he was run out for 91 runs on Day 4 of the 3rd Test match.

Gill was dismissed for a duck in the first innings of the Rajkot Test.

Stylish India batter Shubman Gill was absolutely livid after he was run out for 91 runs on Day 4 of the 3rd Test match against England in Rajkot. The incident transpired on the last ball of the 64th over when Kuldeep Yadav nailed his shot to Ben Stokes, who was stationed at mid-on. Kuldeep took a couple of steps after striking the ball and Shubman Gill obliged by taking a few too many strides. Kuldeep then sent Gill back but the latter was already halfway on the pitch.

Gill scampered back and put it in a desperate dive but his efforts went in vain as Tom Hartley dislodged the stumps in just the nick of time. The replay showed that Gill was a few inches short of the crease and the Indian batter had to depart, falling nine runs short of what would have been a well-deserved century.

While Gill was walking back to the pavilion, he was gutted and swung his bat in the air in anger while Kuldeep crouched on his knees and held his head in regret.

India at Lunch on Day 4

India lost two wickets in the morning session of Day 4 but consolidated their stranglehold on the Test match. Gill departed for 91 runs while Kuldeep walked back to the pavilion after scoring 27 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarafraz Khan registered a swift partnership of 56 runs in just 62 balls and pushed India's score to 314/4. India's lead was 440 runs at lunch on Day 4. Jaiswal was unbeaten on 149 runs while Sarfaraz was 22 not out.
