Former India captain and legendary batter, Virender Sehwag trolled the Pakistan cricket team with a hilarious tweet on X (formerly Twitter) on November 10 (Friday). Sehwag took a cheeky jibe at Babar Azam's Men in Green on the backdrop of New Zealand's massive win over Sri Lanka in the ODI World Cup match that all but ended Pakistan's hopes of qualifying for the semi-final.
Sehwag wrote: "Pakistan Zindabhaag! Have a safe flight back home," and shared an image with "Bye Bye Pakistan" written on it.
Pakistan semi-final qualification scenario:
In the upcoming cricket match, the Pakistan team faces a daunting task regardless of the toss outcome. If England's captain Jos Buttler chooses to bat first, Pakistan will be compelled to achieve a seemingly unattainable target: chasing down whatever score England sets in a mere 16 balls.
