Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul are likely to be part of India's squad for the upcoming 3rd Test against England. According to a report in The Indian Express, both Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul have shown good recovery from their respective injuries and the duo is likely to regain full fitness ahead of the upcoming Test match against the Three Lions. Talking about their injuries, Jadeja sustained a hamstring injury during the 1st Test against England in Hyderabad, and in the same match, Rahul complained of a quad strain. Both Jadeja and Rahul then missed the second Test match in Visakhapatnam.

Ravindra Jadeja offers major update on his injury

On February 7, Jadeja took to Instagram and offered a huge update on his injury. The Indian all-rounder shared a picture of himself and wrote "Getting better". Jadeja is currently recovering from his injury at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. In case Jadeja recovers in time and is available for the 3rd Test, it would be a major boost to the Indian side as his all-round capabilities make him a precious weapon for captain Rohit Sharma.

In the first Test in Hyderabad, Jadeja scored 87 runs with the bat in the first innings. He also contributed with the ball, picking a total of five wickets in the match.

Virat Kohli set to miss more matches

According to multiple reports, Virat Kohli is likely to extend his away time from the sport for a longer time. Kohli, who opted out of the first two Tests against England owing to personal reasons, is set to miss at least two more Tests of the ongoing series against the Three Lions.

Gripping series moves to Rajkot

The first two Tests between India and England have been nothing short of pulsating. After hosts India suffered a 28-run defeat in the opening Test in Hyderabad, Rohit Sharma's men clawed their way back in the series by winning the second Test by a margin of 106 runs in Visakhapatnam to level the series.

The series is poised to continue with the third Test, which is set to commence on February 15 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.
