Star all-rounder Shivam Dube got out on a golden duck for the second consecutive time in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 after his selection in the Indian squad for the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2024. Both of his duck dismissals came against Punjab Kings and spinners. He was dismissed by Harpreet Brar in the first match and then Rahul Chahr in the second one.

Rahul Chahar picked two big wickets on back-to-back balls and sent both Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube back to the pavilion. After losing Ajinkya Rahane early in the second over. Gaikwad joined a crucial 57-run partnership with Daryl Mitchell.

However, it was Shivam Dube, who walked in now but he once again failed to do anything as he got out on golden duck. Fans stormed social media and are now trolling Dube for his performance right after getting selected in the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2024.

Shivam Dube has been in remarkable form in this IPL season. He has amassed 350 runs with a strike rate of 170.73. If you take out the two golden ducks, Dube has been one of the most consistent and best performers for the Chennai Super Kings. Hopefully, he makes a comeback in the next match and scores some good runs. His form will be crucial for both CSK and Team India.
