At 22, Jaiswal has soared 14 places to now sit at the 15th position. The Mumbai-based batsman has been in stellar form, dominating the English bowlers by scoring an unbeaten 214 from 236 deliveries, including 14 fours and 12 sixes, contributing to India's commanding total.

Yashasvi Jaiswal running riot in Test series vs England
Yashasvi Jaiswal tops the scoring leaderboard in the current Test series between India and England. With two double-centuries to his name, Jaiswal boasts an impressive batting average of 109.00. So far, he has accumulated 545 runs in the series.
Meanwhile, England's opener Ben Duckett also saw an improvement in his rankings after scoring 153 runs in Rajkot, albeit in a defeat. Duckett stood out as the sole impressive English batsman in the match, capitalising on the favorable batting conditions and playing a key role in diminishing England's first innings deficit.
Duckett has ascended 12 spots to reach 13th, marking the highest rating (719) in his Test career.
Rohit Sharma climbs to 12th spot
India's captain Rohit Sharma has climbed up a spot to 12th in the ICC Test Batting Rankings. In the Men's Test Bowling Rankings, India's premier left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja saw a rise following his five-wicket performance in Rajkot, moving up three places to sit at sixth.
India's off-spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin, reached an impressive milestone by taking Zak Crawley's wicket in the first innings of the Rajkot Test. Ashwin has advanced one position to second in the ICC Men's Test Bowling Rankings, holding a total of 839 ratings.
Jasprit Bumrah, India's leading pace bowler, maintains his position at the top of the Men's Test Bowling Rankings.
