Yograj feels Yuvraj would have played for more years had it not been for Dhoni.

Former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh who has trained T20 and ODI World Cup-winner Yuvraj Singh has once again slammed former captain MS Dhoni. Yograj said that he will never forgive Dhoni as he claims that the former India captain destroyed the all-rounder's career.

"I won't forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life. I have never done two things in life - first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong for me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it my family members or my kids," Yograj said on Zee Switch YouTube channel.

Yuvraj made his last appearance on the international stage in 2017 while Dhoni played till ODI World Cup 2019. Yograj believes that Yuvraj would have played a few more years had it not been for the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain.

Bharat Ratna for Yuvraj

In addition, he wants Yuvraj to be honoured with India's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna for playing a vital role in the country’s ODI World Cup 2011 win despite suffering from cancer. Sachin Tendulkar is the only cricketer to be awarded with Bharat Ratna. Earlier, Yuvraj has received Arjuna Award (2012) and Padma Shri award (2014).

“That man (MS Dhoni) has destroyed the life of my son, who could have played four to five years more. I dare everyone to give birth to a son like Yuvraj. Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said in the past that there won't be another Yuvraj Singh. India should award him the Bharat Ratna for playing with cancer and winning the World Cup for the country," Yograj added.
