Deccan Gladiators’ Tom Kohler-Cadmore registered the highest score in the history of T10 league. Cadmore single-handedly scored 68.57 per cent of Gladiators’ runs but missed the century by just four runs as he got out for 96 from 39 deliveries.

The English batter swung hard to reach the three figures on the third ball of the last over off Bangla Tigers bowler Luke Wood. However, in an attempt to clear the boundary he got caught out by Will Jacks.

Lynn's record broken

The 27-year-old went past Chris Lynn’s record of highest score in the T10 league. Lynn scored 91 runs off just 30 balls for Maratha Arabians against Team Abu Dhabi in the 2019 season of the league.

Cadmore’s 96-run knock included 12 fours and five sixes. He batted at a strike rate of 246.15. The opener was brutal against Mohammad Amir hitting him for four boundaries and a six. He got to his half-century in the fourth over with just 18 deliveries.

Russell kept quiet at other end

He shared a 128-run opening partnership with Andre Russell. Interestingly, Russell remained unbeaten for just 26 runs from 18 deliveries. After the Englishman’s wicket, Odean Smith hit two sixes off three balls to help the side post a daunting total of 140/1.

Dismal show before breaking record

Before the record-breaking 96, the Kent-born cricketer had a horrible season as he could score just 110 runs from nine innings at an average of 13.75 including one half-century and a string of single-digit scores.
