Irfan Pathan takes brutal dig at Haris Rauf.

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan reacted to Jasprit Bumrah's plane crash celebration during the Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. Pace spearhead Bumrah responded to Rauf's planes getting shot down gesture, which he did during the Super Four clash of the Asia Cup at the same venue.

Bumrah, who was unable to get off to a good start in the final, picked up Rauf in the 18th over. The incident happened on the fifth ball of the 18th ball, and after that, he did Haris' dipping flight gesture with a smile. Pathan took his 'X' formerly known as Twitter to take dig at Rauf.

Notably, BCCI complained about Rauf's controversial gestures to the International Cricket Council, and the international cricket governing body imposed a fine of 30 per cent of match fees, where the Pakistan pacer pleaded not guilty.

India vs Pakistan 1st innings

Coming back to the match, Kuldeep Yadav's masterclass, along with brilliant bowling efforts from Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel, bundled out Pakistan on a below-par 146 for 19.1 overs in the title decider of the Asia Cup 2025. Hardik Pandya-less India failed to get a good start as Sahibzada Farhan (57 off 38 balls) and Fakhar Zaman (46 off 35 balls) managed to put an 84-run stand against India. However, the Indian spin troika of Kuldeep (4/30 in 4 overs), Axar Patel (2/26 in 4 overs) and Chakravarthy (2/30 in 4 overs) literally choked them in the back-10 to bring India right back in the match.
