India will face Pakistan in Asia Cup 2025 final.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav has refused to take part in the Asia Cup 2025 trophy shoot with Pakistan counterpart Salman Ali Agha ahead of the title decider of the mega event. As per the reports, the customary pre-final trophy photo shoot ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 final has been cancelled due to captain Suryakumar Yadav’s refusal.

There were reports that both captains may pose with the Asia Cup 2025 trophy before the final, but Suryakumar Yadav was not there with the Pakistan skipper, Salman Ali Agha, during the photoshoot. Salman Agha posed for the trophy alone as Suryakumar Yadav didn't turn up for the trophy shoot. Surya, instead, had a separate trophy shoot.

Coming back to the Asia Cup 2025 final, India captain Suryakumar Yadav has won the toss and decided to bowl first against Pakistan. This will be the third clash of the Asia Cup 2025 between India and Pakistan. Earlier, India defeated Pakistan in both outings by seven and six wickets, respectively.

Suryakumar Yadav at toss: We are looking to bowl first. It looks like a good wicket. The wicket gets better under lights. We have been batting well first but we would like to chase today. The groundsmen have done a terrific job with the wickets here and it will stay the same. The brand of cricket we have been playing for the last 5-6 games is pretty good and we would like to continue that. Unfortunately, Hardik misses out due to a niggle, and Arshdeep and Harshit also miss out. Bumrah, Dube and Rinku come in.
